But with thousands of heroes now home from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the most urgent issue we face right now is standing strong for America’s veterans from recent conflicts. Many of them have come home with grave injuries — some visible to the naked eye, some you can’t see like Post-Traumatic Stress or Traumatic Brain Injury. They will need a lifetime of care and support. They’ve earned it. We need to be there for them.
