Congratulations to all of the Catechumens, now the "Elect," and Candidates who participated in the Rite of Sending Mass on Saturday, February 13th and the Rite of Election on Sunday, February 14th. The Rite of Sending Mass was a public affirmation by the Sponsors of our Catechumens and Candidates, that each were ready to be presented to the Diocese at the Rite of Elect. At the Rite of Elect, the Bishop declared they were ready to be initiated into the sacred mysteries at the Easter Vigil. Please keep them in our prayers as they journey through Lent and make their final preparations to join us in our Catholic faith at the Easter Vigil on March 26th.
Monday Morning Stations of the Cross Monday mornings following the daily Mass during Lent, you are invited to pray the Stations of the Cross with us after, please join us for the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet. Sacraments Baptisms are held on the 4th Sunday of each
month after the 11:00am Mass. Baptism is a communal Sacrament and not private. Deacon John Fanelle performs all of the baptisms. Parents are required to be registered as parishioners, and be participating members of our community for three months. Attending Mass does not make you registered! If this is the first child, both parents are required to attend the Baptismal Class. Baptismal classes are held on the first Sunday of each month. Godparents are encouraged to attend the baptismal class, either at our parish or their own parish. To schedule a Baptism and/or register for the Baptismal Class, please contact the parish office, (858) 481-3232.

All couples wishing to be married at St. Thérèse of Carmel must be registered, active and participating members of our parish community for one year before setting a date. Couples are asked to allow six to nine months to complete the marriage preparation program. Please call the parish office (858)-481-3232 to make arrangements.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
is for adults who seek initiation into the Catholic Church through Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. RCIA is also for baptized adults through Reconciliation, Confirmation and Eucharist. Catholic or non-Catholic, who seek full Initiation into the Catholic Church. Please contact Karen Klause (858) 259-5441
Prayer Cards Available
Our Healing Prayer Ministry Team has special Prayer cards that can be sent to those who are sick or are just in need of prayer to let them know they are being prayed for! You can get them in the Parish Office. The donation for these cards is $5.00. The Healing Prayer Ministry Team will receive the person’s name and include them in their weekly prayers!
