A NIGHT OF ORANGE AND WHITE e are so thankful that you have chosen to worship with us today. If you are visiting let me welcome you and ask that you please fill out a Connection card found in the pew and return it to an usher at some point today. I pray you feel the Lord’s presence here today. When I surrendered my life to Pastor the local church, I made a commitment

that I would never do so to simply collect a check. Keeping the status quo is unacceptable for me and I am more committed today than ever before, to boldly leading the body of Christ in which I serve to fulfill the great commission. I understand that it is a risk to push the church beyond its comforts and traditions, but it is one that I must take. As I report to you today on the state of the Church, my goal is that you see this not as my vision for Second Baptist, but rather our Lord and Savior’s. The challenges and goals that I am presenting to you today may seem too extreme for some and too little for others. Yet, they are the culmination of 3.5 years of strategic prayer, study and intentional focus. The challenge of aligning committees, personnel, finances and programs to this strategic point has been a rewarding process. My prayer for you today is that you are open to the opportunities and challenges before us. I truly believe that God has positioned Second Baptist Church to be a model for rural churches across America of what can be accomplished for the Kingdom of God. Ultimately, a sermon will not change our future. Neither will a pastor or a program. Instead, the body of Christ must be willing to embrace its biblical call and say YES to our great King. So I ask you today, will you like Isaiah say, “Here am I; send me”? For His Glory, Pastor Justin

Thank You
