We wouldn’t know the depth of our need, or the wonder of God’s gospel, apart from your faithful ministry. Great is your power; great is your faithfulness.

Lord Jesus, you are the Prophet we need—God’s final word to us, the faithful witness to God’s glory need and all things. Everything you say can be trusted; everything you say must be heeded. You are the Priest for whom we long—who long became our sin-sacrifice in death, and were raised as the guarantee of our justification and surety of our full redemption. You ever welcome us to your throne of grace. You are the King in whom we trust —sovereign over kings and crickets; our sorrows and our successes; this day and all days; our deepest wounds and our greatest hopes.
