from Psalm 96:1-3; 2 Corinthians 3:18
Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salva8on from day to day. Declare his glory among the naSons, his marvelous works among all the peoples! For, beholding the glory of the Lord, we are being transformed from one degree of glory to another.

God calls us to confess our sin Liturgist:
from Galatians 5:13, 16; James 4:10
For freedom Christ has set us free. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity to indulge the sinful nature. Walk by the Spirit, and you will not graSfy the desires of the sinful nature. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
We confess our sin All (sing): Trisagion (below); sing 3 Smes Liturgist: All:
Father of glory, you poured out your Holy Spirit upon us to transform us to reflect your glory. We confess that we oDen resist and grieve your Spirit, and we do not trust your power and path to change us. We do not keep your word before us so that we can behold your glory. We seek to perfect ourselves, or we abandon all hope that you can transform us. So we walk in slavery to sin rather than true freedom in the Spirit. Lord, have mercy on us. (silent prayers of confession)
Liturgist:
Father, forgive us for resisSng the work of your Holy Spirit in us. Renew us and lead us by your Spirit, so that we may behold your glory in your Son and be transformed from one degree of glory to another as we walk in the life and power that you have given to us.
All (sing): Trisagion (below); sing 1 Sme

We pray for the church and the world Liturgist:
(prayers for the church and the world)
All:
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into tempta8on, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

God feeds us at his table Central Presbyterian welcomes all ChrisSans who acSvely trust in Jesus Christ for salvaSon, who are willing to forsake their sin, and who are members of congregaSons that proclaim the gospel to receive Holy Communion with us. If you are not ready to receive communion, you may simply pass the elements by. We also urge you to meditate on one of the prayers below. Bread: The bread is gluten-free. Ea)ng and drinking: Please eat and drink as you receive the bread and the cup when you are ready. We will not hold the elements and wait to eat unSl all have been served. Prayer for those searching: Lord Jesus, you claim to be the way, the truth, and the life. Help me to be undaunted by the cost of following you as I consider the reasons for doing so. If what you claim is true, please guide me, teach me, and open me to the reality of who you are. Give me an understanding of you that is coherent and convincing and that leads to the life you promise. Amen. Prayer of new belief: Lord Jesus, I admit that I am weaker and more sinful than I ever dared believe, but through you I am more loved and accepted than I ever dared hope. I thank you for paying my debt on the cross, taking what I deserved in order to offer me complete forgiveness. Knowing that you have been raised from the dead, I turn from my sins and receive you as my Savior and Lord. Amen. Jesus, I Come
