MOVERS AND SHAKERS OF GRACE (over 50 crowd) We only have a few spaces left for the Springtime Jubilee in Branson MO and the deadline, Sunday, January 27th is just around the corner. This year’s event runs from April 8-10, 2019. Stop by the kiosk today and sign up with your $75 deposit. Cost is $170(with discount) per person, two people per room. Breakfast is included, and you are responsible for all other meals. PLEASE DO NOT PUT YOUR PAYMENT IN THE OFFERING!
NURSERY NEWS ●Volunteers - For the next several months we will need parental volunteers in the nursery. If you have a child in the nursery, please consider volunteering one Sunday per quarter. You can sign up at the nursery check-in today! ●Step-up changes - In the past we have moved children from the nursery to Kid’s church once they turn 4 years old. This year we will have select Step-Up Sundays for a 4-year old going into Kid’s church. Those Step-up Sundays will be: January 6th; March 17th; June 2nd; and September 1st. If your child turns 4 after one of these days, you have the option of taking them to Kid’s church or they are welcome to remain in the nursery until the next Step-up Sunday when ALL 4-year old’s will step-up to Kid’s church.
CANCER CARE MINISTRY If you signed up to volunteer and minister with the Cancer Center, on Mosaic campus, please attend a meeting TODAY at 3:00pm in room 206.
FOCUS ON MISSIONS Our conference is just a couple months away and we are planning an event with Hands of Grace for Saturday, March 2nd. We have started collecting items that will be used to make bags for three local organizations that are supported by Hands of Grace. If you are interested in helping with this, please grab a list (by the info desk on the table) of the items needed and help us bless these organizations. Watch the bulletin for sign up to all the events we will be hosting during our Focus on Missions week that starts with prayer on Monday, February 25th.
SUNDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY & PRAYER TONIGHT at 4:00pm (note time change) in the library, we are in Deuteronomy, chapter 4. The chosen people of God are on the edge of the Promised Land. Moses parting words to them have much to say to us about our journeys of faith.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY AT GRACE IF: GATHERING exists to equip women with gospel-centered resources, events, and community so they may learn more about who God is and disciple other women right where they are. We will host their live simulcast, February 8th – 9th in the sanctuary. You can register and pay the $5 fee at the information desk today. SUPER BOWL SUNDAY - FEBRUARY 3rd □ REPURPOSED (Singles 40 & over) - We will be watching the game on the BIG SCREEN in the chapel. Watch for start time and what you can bring for all to munch on! □ HIGH 5 KIDS - As the adults are making plans to watch the super bowl and pig out, we are getting ready to host the kids that will be coming to Grace to get away from all the football fans. We will have games, crafts, food, fun and a movie. To attend, preregister all kids that will be coming in High Five Children’s church. HANDS OF GRACE ●We are in full swing with our baby bottle drive for the Pregnancy Resource Clinic. If you have not picked up a bottle, please do so today. We are going to give the donations you make to the PRC the middle of February and would like you to return your bottle by Sunday, February 17th. We are excited to work with an agency that promotes life and helps parents and babies stay together. ●Next Sunday, we invite you to join us at Grace for our monthly Hands of Grace meeting. We have many events we will be planning in the next few months and could use your help. We meet at 5:00pm in room 206 at Grace. Hope to see you there.
