Opportunities to achieve wellbeing and promote best practice will be aligned to internal and external drivers and constraints. Student Support Services have responsibility to promote the development of individual responsibility to achieve a healthier student body and will work collaboratively with other departments across the College to do so. They will work with tutors and line managers to ensure that they have the skills and awareness to carry out responsibilities under this strategy. All students must recognise the impact of promoting health and well being on feeling safe and overall performance. They need to engage in, drive and support this strategy. The Health and Safety advisor, safeguarding facilitator and property services team are responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of the College are safe, fit for purpose and not detrimental to health. All students have a responsibility for their own health and wellbeing, as well as that of their peers.
