Today our lives our filled with…...

Uncertainty Anxiety

Psalm 139 wants us to see the uncertainties of life and the anxieties of life in the light of who God is, and his detailed knowledge of our lives.

Anxiety: Inner ‘dis-unity’ due to a perceived threat or unknown outcome.

Big Idea: You and I have very little control over the uncertainties of life, but with God’s truth, we do not have to let the emotion of anxiety control our lives.

Truth #1: God knows everything about me, and overwhelmingly loves me.

Truth #2: God is with me wherever I go and is able to lead me to where I need to be. What we often perceive as negative is often God working out a positive.

Truth #3: God, who is with me and loves me, formed my life and foreordained my life.

Truth #4: God will ultimately right all wrongs, but it happens on his timeline.

See anxious thoughts as an invitation to focus more on the promises God than your issue of uncertainty. Ask God to reveal to you why you are experiencing Anxiety and how he is wanting you to trust him.

Remember the Gospel: “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.” 1 Peter 3:18 As God’s child wherever we go, the risen Jesus is in charge, “All authority has been given to me, therefore, go make disciples.” Mt. 28
