INTRODUCTION Clocks 2 features primary tasks designed to provide practice and repetition for young learners. The activities include review of analog time and digital time in five and one-minute increments. The book begins with a review of telling time, expressing time in different ways, a.m./p.m., and then graduates on to practical application using elapsed time concepts and word problems. The exercises are suitable for students in grades 3-5 who would benefit from additional practice or enrichment.

12:00 to 1:00 = 1 hour
Step 2: How many minutes have passed?
1:00 to 1:30 = 30 minutes
One and a half (1.5) hours have elapsed. Write the times shown on each clock. Then compare the first clock and the second clock to answer the question. The first one is done for you. 1.
