COMMISSIONER OF AGRICULTURE ADAM PUTNAM ADDRESSES COMMUNITY LEADERS Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam addressed the March breakfast meeting. The event, sponsored by GUNSTER, allowed Putnam to speak about two critical issues facing Florida water and energy. The Commissioner stressed the need for all Floridians to recognize the important role these two issues will play in our state’s future growth and prosperity.

Mayor Jeri Muoio Addresses Chamber Trustees Recently re-elected Mayor Jeri Muoio was the March Trustee luncheon speaker. She thanked the Chamber for its support in her recent campaign and outlined some of her priorities in her second term. She informed the group that new downtown trolleys will be appearing very soon. The city administration is continuing their work with neighborhoods and businesses on the South Dixie Highway Improvement efforts. She also shared her enthusiasm for the new spring training facility that will be developed at 45th Street and Haverhill Road.
