How GriefShare Works It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. “Going to GriefShare feels like having warm arms wrapped around you when you’re shivering.” GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. GriefShare is coming to Crosspointe starting Saturday, January 12, and will meet weekly from 9-11 a.m.

IYM Cookie Drive Now through December 16 Crosspointe participates in two cookie parties at the IYM centers for Christmas. Volunteers are needed to serve cookies beginning at 8 a.m. on December 21 and 22. Unable to volunteer? No problem! We would love for you to bake cookies for this event. Please drop off cookies by Sunday, December 16 in the main hall outside of Room 215. Interested volunteers call Bruce Anderson at 586.663.8067. Celebrate Recovery Friday at 7:00 p.m. Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-centered approach to recovery where you can ind healing from hurts, hang-ups and habits. CR meets at Crosspointe every Friday at 7 p.m. The program is open to all, free and childcare is available. Christmas Impact Today is the launch of C3’s Christmas Impact drive for Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries. Details of the drive are available at Guest Services. Thank you to all who have participated in Christmas Impact so far this season. You have truly made an impact in our neighborhood through your toy donations for LifeBUILDERS, in our world by packing and sending over 165 Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes and now in the Metro Detroit area by donating for DRMM. Please continue in prayer for those who will receive the toys, boxes and bags, that they would know Christ this season.
Christmas Activities at Crosspointe Sunday services will be held at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. on December 23 and a Candlelight service on Christmas Eve will be held in the evening at 6:00 p.m. If you've never attended this unique service, we encourage you to come ind out why so many families make it a can't miss tradition. Invitation handouts are available at guest services in the lobby. Please feel free to take as many as you can share!
New Year’s Eve Service This time of re lection, prayer, and stories about God’s presence, is truly special. There is no better way to begin the new year. The Watch Night Service begins at 11 p.m. Monday Evening Men’s Study Monday evenings at 7 p.m. at Crosspointe you will ind a casual mix of men from high school through retirement age gathered together to dig into Christ-centered solutions to real topics that effect their daily lives. Biblical exploration, shared experiences, and truly open discussion is lead by Pastor Matt to help guys grow in their faith and enhance their personal relationships. No invitation, books, or special study materials are needed; just show up at 7 p.m. Winter Women’s Electives Begin January 7 Ladies are invited to join a bible study on either Monday evenings or Wednesday Mornings. Winter Electives include Job by Lisa Harper, Hebrews 2&3 Precept Study, and Give Them Grace by Elyse Fitzpatrick.
