12.1-20 THE LORD INSTRUCTS MOSES AND AARON  

How Israel is to prepare for the 10th plague: Mark your homes with blood and the plague will not destroy you. How Israel is to remember the 10th plague: Keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread.

12.21-28 MOSES INSTRUCTS ISRAEL’S LEADERS 

Select and kill your lambs.



Mark your doors with blood, so when the LORD strikes the Egyptians He will pass over the Israelites.

12.29-32 THE 10TH PLAGUE: THE FIRSTBORN DIE  

There is not a home in Egypt where someone is not dead. Pharaoh calls Moses and Aaron in and commands Israel to go.

12.33-42 THE EXODUS: ISRAEL GOES OUT  

  

Israel leaves in haste. Israel leaves with the wealth of Egypt. Israel leaves en masse. Israel leaves after 430 years. Israel leaves with the LORD watching.

12.43-49 INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE PASSOVERS 

How the outsider can become the insider: To keep the Passover you must be circumcised.
