Internship Program Application
General Instructions Thank you for your interest in an internship at Faith Fellowship Church. When the FFC elders offer an internship opportunity, it is from a desire to encourage and influence the development of future pastors and ministry leaders in their roles in biblical churches. Interns at FFC gain opportunity for supervised experience in various areas of church leadership; that may or may not include teaching, pastoral leadership, church polity. Completed application form Résumé Two letters of recommendation (one from a pastor) If you are married, please include a letter from your pastor. Ask him to describe your marriage and its suitability for ministry. This letter must be confidential and sent directly by the pastor to the above address or via e-mail to

[email protected] Please answers the following questions: a. How did you become a Christian? b. Describe the circumstances of your baptism ((location, who baptized you, how your church was involved, etc.) and present church membership (type of church, how you serve, level of involvement, etc.). Please answer this question for your wife as well, if you are married. c. How did you learn about the FFC internship? Why do you want to intern at FFC? d. What purpose do you think an internship would fulfill in your life? What do you intend to learn through an internship? What kind of service do you think God is leading you into? e. As interns are not considered regular employees of FFC, it is not our practice to provide health insurance. What plans do you have to provide coverage during your stay? f. If you are married, tell us about your marriage and any concerns you may have for it as you consider pastoral ministry. g. Would you be willing to spend the rest of your life pastoring and/or church planting in WNY? Please comment. h. Tell us something about yourself we would not learn from your résumé.
If the Elders at FFC are taking internship applications, they would normally and minimally require an applicant’s attendance at an intern preview weekend prior to considering an application complete. After an application has been received, the applicant would normally wait to receive notification of the next opportunity to attend an intern preview weekend. The leadership at FFC desires to consider applications from men who show a passion and love for Jesus Christ; possess, by God’s grace, a character of integrity; have the desire and potential to be an evangelical leader; and affirm FFC’s Statement of Faith and Church Covenant. Interns must become members of FFC during their internship. Each internship lasts roughly 6 months. Thank you for your interest. Questions can be directed via email to
