Do you need work done around your home? U of A Wesley students will be carrying out projects during the first and second weekends in November to raise money for our upcoming Winter Mission Trip to Memphis, TN. Last year, projects included moving furniture, painting, raking leaves, and yard work. This year’s Work Weekends will be November 2-5 and 9-12. To submit a project request, register at uawesley.com/work-weekends. There is no specific amount charged to complete a project, but we ask that those sponsoring projects make a donation to the Wesley Missions Fund. Please sign up soon - first come, first served!

Pastor: People:

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord, and make music to your name, O Most High, proclaiming your love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night.

Choral Introit (10:45 only) Christ Is Made the Sure Foundation Dale Wood Chancel Choir MIT FREUDEN ZART * Hymn 126 Sing Praise to God Who Reigns Above * Affirmation of Faith 883 (A Statement of Faith of the United Church of Canada)

We are not alone. We live in God’s world. We believe in God: who has created and is creating, who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, who works in us and others by the Spirit. We trust in God. We are called to be the church: to celebrate God’s presence, to love and serve others, to seek justice and resist evil, to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope. In life, in death, in life beyond death, God is with us. We are not alone. Thanks be to God. Amen.

MEINEKE

David Kavich

Awesome and compassionate God, you have loved us with unfailing mercy, but we have not loved you. You constantly call us, but we do not listen. You ask us to love, but we walk away from neighbors in need, wrapped in our own concerns. We condone evil, prejudice, warfare, and greed. God of grace, as you come to us in mercy, we repent in spirit and in truth, admit our sin, and gratefully receive your forgiveness through Jesus Christ, our Redeemer. Amen.

Silent Prayer

Searle Wright

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.

When the Time Comes

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
