Principles of Cognitive Testing for Audiologists Presented by Pamela Souza, Ph.D.

As the saying goes, the ear is connected to the brain. Cognition affects how we understand speech; how we cope with difficult acoustic environments; and it can even influence how we respond to specific hearing aid settings. This session reviews some principles of cognitive testing as it relates to aided and unaided listening, along with practical tips for clinicians who are considering using cognitive tests in their practice.

All sessions are recorded and will be available at AudiologyOnline.com
