2016 Church Prayer Goals Prayer Goal #1 To see a 20% increase in people taking intentional next steps in their apprenticeship journey so that we might actually learn to do what Jesus says to do, and so demonstrate to the world around us that Jesus is alive, that He truly brings life-changing freedom and healing, which results in real-time joy, peace and hope. At StAAC, we are all about living together as apprentices of Jesus in the now-available Kingdom of God, and as such, we will be measuring next steps through the following markers and praying in the following ways: • Baptism For courage to take this primary step towards putting Jesus first in everything • Membership For joy & excitement for many to identify with the vision of StAAC • Prayer Summits For increased average attendance to 200 people at Prayer Summits, including a growing participation of kids & teenagers • Hearing God Seminar For actual daily practice and implementation of listening prayer • Encounter God Retreat For a genuine encounter with Jesus producing tangible healing, freedom and joy • Small Groups That Jesus would strategically place people in the right group and that new Discover Partner relationships would be formed • Foundations For holistic integration of all aspects of someone’s life around Jesus as first in everything • Alpha That spiritually hungry people come to experience Jesus as Saviour and King • Short School of Prayer & Short School of Mission That people would be strategically equipped with clear next steps for personal implementation

Prayer Goal #2 To see God provide miraculous provision for our land levies so that it would be obvious to many that He is leading us in this direction and that His favour is on us; so that we could accelerate our timeline to establishing a well-functioning, safe and inviting space for people in our community who need to hear how much God loves them. At present, we will be responsible for approx. $700-750K to cover the levies, and so in particular, we are praying for the kind of unexpected and currently unforseen provision which causes us to go “Only God could do this!”

Prayer Goal #3 To see a church plant launch team established so that the good news that the Kingdom of God is now-available to everyone, could be expressed in a way that people who have misunderstood who Jesus really is and the life he has truly come to offer could experience Him in a life-transforming way. We are excited by the leading of Jesus for us to see a new expression of the church planted in the Old Strathcona part of Edmonton! Over the next 12 months, we are asking God to help us get some foundational blocks in place to keep us moving towards this dream and as such are praying: • That God would bring forward a launch team of people with a heart for lost people, an absence of church-related woundedness and cynicism, and the ability to discern the shape and strategy moving forward • That God would strengthen and give grace to Nathan as he seeks to balance these initial stages of church planting alongside his responsibilities here at StAAC. • That God would provide the necessary people and resources at StAAC to make up for the gap created by Nathan’s (slowly) progressing shift of energies towards the church plant. • For spiritual protection over this process and the Carrolls.
