ACCELERATE INDY PROGRESS REPORT A FOREWORD FROM OUR CO-CHAIRS ED BONACH
RETIRED CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, CNO FINANCIAL GROUP
DAVID LEWIS
VICE PRESIDENT- GLOBAL TAXES CHIEF TAX EXECUTIVE, ELI LILLY & CO
As the first full year of Accelerate Indy, 2017 brought many successes and verified what we already knew: working together is powerful and our community is dedicated to making the Indy region a vibrant metro area through collaboration, engagement, and action. We are proud to co-chair Accelerate Indy and stand behind the efforts of the Indy Chamber as they work to build a modern, innovative economy through the strategy outlined in Accelerate Indy. It has been said that if you want to go quick, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together, and we share the same sentiment as we grow the Indy region. Regional economic development is happening throughout our country and the world - we have no option but to engage collaboratively and compete! With the active involvement of individuals, businesses, not-for-profits, academic institutions and local governments, it is happening here. Thanks to the support of our investors, we have accelerated the pace. We are thrilled to bring you this update on the 2017 activities of Accelerate Indy, and look forward to working with you in 2018!
