He has donated his body to Meharry Medical College, Nashville, TN. Mr. Bunds passed away suddenly February 18, 2018 due to complications with diabetes. He worked at The Tullahoma News many years and retired from Tennessee Business Forms. He was an avid NASCAR fan and built and owned his own dirt track race car. He was also a member of the Coffee Airfoilers where he won several trophies for model planes that he designed and built himself. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy C. Rynearson Bunds; and his parents, Charles N. Bunds, Jr. and Cora Mae Losh Bunds. He is survived by longtime companion, Kathy Cobb; daughter, Charlotte Bunds Throneberry (Bender); sister, Lana Bunds Arnold (Dewight); niece, Ann Marie Arnold; and great god granddaughter, Kaylee M. Mr. Davis passed away, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing following an extended illness. Mr. Davis was born in Petersburg, TN on July 10, 1937, to the late Roy E. and Ellen Reed Davis. He served in the Navy from 1955 until 1959, and worked in construction and plumbing during his adult years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice; brother, Murate (Jane) Davis; sister, Donna Waldo; stepmother, Leona Davis. His lifelong passion for learning led him into many fields of work, culminating with a 20 year career as a construction superintendent with Pearce Construction. Charles’s many interests included reading, studying the Bible, woodworking, traveling, farming/gardening, cooking and being outdoors. Although he lived in many locations throughout his life, he always considered Lincoln County, Tennessee his home. Most of all, he loved the Lord.
