From Our Pastor It is every pastor’s desire to be able to report,“This was our best year ever.” We certainly saw God’s faithfulness in 2017. This annual report shows that God met many needs through PAC. People continue to meet and follow Jesus here. We’re taking the Gospel into our local community and around the world. God faithfully provided resources to do good things here by moving your hearts in generous ways: A record number of you stepped up to serve in 2017. End-of-year giving was off the charts. A record number of you signed up to pray for our mission partners. We enlisted 12 new prayer shepherds to pray with you after Sunday services. It has been a good year. But it has also been a hard year—a year full of transition. God began to multiply what He was doing here by sending a dozen of our staff members into new endeavors outside of PAC. We praise God we can contribute to the larger life of the Church worldwide, but it has been an adjustment here at home. We’ve reorganized our priorities, developed a new strategy for bringing health to our ministries, and are aligning all of our efforts toward the potential of reaching Central Jersey with the Gospel. God is clearly doing a new thing. We’re passionate about 2018. There’s a freshness in our step and an anticipation because God is already revealing fruit through this transition. We have significant goals, a clearer focus, and a trim structure that will allow us to stay relevant and cutting edge, while maintaining the solid foundations of our faith. Paul’s challenge to the Philippians in chapter three rings so true for us now. “But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” There’s no greater pursuit than this.

Dr. Boyd Hannold Lead Pastor

PAC exists to help you live life to the fullest in Jesus. We do this by knowing God, developing community, and bringing hope. This is our mission and vision. • We celebrated 82 adults, teens, and children choosing to follow Jesus and baptized 36. • We launched a third worship service so more people could meet and follow Jesus.

2018 Plan Following is an overview of anticipated giving for 2018:

Total Giving Local Ministry Fund** (formerly General Fund)

• We partnered with Plainsboro Township to celebrate community through three Summer Blast events in our local parks. • We sent five teams to help with hurricane relief efforts in Texas and the Dominican Republic. • We cared for hundreds of families by meeting needs through The Pantry, financial assistance, and car repairs. • We sent 220 adults, teens, and children to mission fields, stateside and overseas, on 12 mission teams.

Church Multiplication There is a great need in Central Jersey for healthy, gospel-driven churches and God is calling PAC to help meet that need. For this purpose, we have restructured our staff into four functional teams, which work cohesively to bring health to every PAC ministry. • Local Outreach • Midweek Ministries

• Operations • Sunday Experience

Together, the four team leaders along with Lead Pastor Boyd Hannold and Executive Pastor Josh Dean make up our Church Multiplication Team. We are excited to see what God will do in 2018 as we strengthen this teamwork and align all of our purpose and energy toward our mission and vision. To do so we have identified four core strategies: continual evaluation, relational engagement, and spiritual and leadership development, which make the fourth possible—starting healthy churches.
