Getting Connected - The Gathering
The Gathering is the starting point of our membership process. It is a great way to help you understand how to connect with Christ daily and plug into one of our many small groups. You will also receive information about our church’s vision, values, and how to become a member. We believe wonderful things happen as we commit to Christ and His local church family. Finally, we know every person has been gifted by God to make a difference in the church and in the world. During this Gathering, you will discover how you can serve Christ in the church and live it out in the world. The Gathering is also a place where you can ask questions about the church or faith in general. It normally lasts about an hour. Everyone who desires to become a member at FOR must attend The Gathering. Childcare and a meal is provided. An RSVP is much appreciated. Our next Gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 2nd at 6:30pm. Dinner is included.

Farewell Celebration! April 22nd, 5pm, 8th Street Campus Their working days are finally done, and now it’s time for them to have fun! Please join us in honoring Harlan and Karen Else as they retire and move to warmer weather. The farewell celebration will be held on April 22, 2018 at 5pm. Seating is limited. In order to have an accurate headcount, tickets are required and will be available in the Welcome Center following each service. 55+ Bistro Thursday, April 12th, 11:45am, 8th Street Campus For all who are 55 or better, you are invited to our monthly luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. [email protected] - Jena Cooper - Fountain FOR Kids Ministry Director Peak Kids Camp at Ponderosa, June 24th-27th Kids Camp is a wonderful experience for campers to grow spiritually as they fellowship with other kids and have a ton of fun! Cost is $240 per child ($190 for additional siblings) and payment should be made online at forchurch.org or checks made payable to Fellowship of the Rockies, memo Kids Camp. You can pick up registration information and forms in the Welcome Center today! FOR Kids Service Project in Need of Donations! 1st-5th grade FOR Kids are asking for donations to help with their serving project. They will be putting together Night Night Bags to help comfort children that first night they go in to foster care. We are hoping to bless at least 25 children and are needing: blankets, children’s books, Bibles and stuffed animals to fill those bags. You can drop off your donations to the box the kids made in the Welcome Center. Thank you in advance for helping our kids learn they can serve too!

Other Special Events Project Baby Blessing & Potluck, April 13th, 6-8:30pm, Fountain Campus Our Women’s Ministry is sponsoring an evening of fun, food, and fellowship on Friday, April 13th from 6-8:30pm at our Fountain Campus to support Life Network’s Pregnancy Center. We’ll be making Baby Brag Books (for Baby’s 1st Year). All materials will be provided. We’re asking each woman to bring a dish to share and a donation for Life Network’s pantry.
