Reservation Guidelines for Campground 1. Reservations may be made for a minimum of two (2) consecutive nights and a maximum of fourteen (14) consecutive nights. All reservations are processed as they are received. 2. Reservation period is from May 1 through October 31, 2018. 3. One main camping unit per site. One small tent is allowed in addition to the main camping unit. A $3.00 per person/per night charge will be assessed for each person over 6 people staying at a campsite. 4. Not more than two (2) motor vehicles are permitted on a campsite at any time. 5. Pets are allowed, but must be kept on a leash at all times. Other vehicles need to be in overflow area. 6. Fill in the type and size camping unit on the application. It will assure being put on a site to fit your particular needs. Site requests can be made, but are not guaranteed. 7. The total camping fee plus a non-refundable $6.50 handling fee must accompany your application. Note: As of 7/1/2015 – a resort fee charge of $2.00 will be included in your charges (this is a nightly fee). **Credit card charging policy: Credit cards will be charged in advance to guarantee reservations. If a credit card declines, the reservation application will be returned to the guest. Canaan Valley Resort offers three (3) handicapped accessible reservation sites. Please check the blank on the application if you need one of these sites. (State-certified disability identification is required.)

Cancellation Policy The first night’s rental fee plus the handling fee are forfeited for any cancellation. A refund for the remainder will be given if cancellation is made at least seven (7) days in advance. The entire deposit is forfeited upon cancellation if within six (6) days of the arrival date. No refunds for early checkouts. In addition, any unoccupied reserved site will be released at 1:00 PM the day following scheduled arrival date, unless previous notice has been given, and will thusly lose the total camping fee plus handling fee. *NOTE - We do allow for one or two date changes on a reservation within In-Season (no reservations taken during Fall/Winter Season). If the date change is made 6 days or less from the date of arrival, it falls into a “No further date change/No cancellation” category. Thusly, there would be no further changes nor cancellation allowed. The reservation will also fall into that category if the date is changed twice no matter how many days from the date of arrival the change is made. Starting Dates for Reservation Acceptance 1. Mail-In Reservations: Accepted February 15, 2018. Postmarked on or after February 15, 2018 (postmarks prior to that date will be returned). Only six (6) reservations per envelope are accepted. 2. Call-In Reservations: Accepted March 15, 2018. Phone reservations are accepted between 8 AM and 4 PM, M-F. Calls received before March 15, 2018, will be mailed an application. 3. Walk-In Reservations: Accepted April 15, 2018. Walk-Ins before April 15, 2018, will be given an application or instructed to call for a reservation.
