End of the Year - Upcoming Events Fiesta Extravaganza- May 23rd from 5:00-6:30- THANK YOU in Advance for your donations!!!! Please see pg. 1 for donations list. -Pre-Sale food tickets will sell on Monday 5/21 and Tuesday 5/22 from 8:00- 4:00. -We will only accept cash for the ticket sales. - No refunds, please. Doughnuts with Dads: May 25th from 7:00-7:45 We will serve in the Cafeteria Field Day: May 29th for K-2 and for 3-5 (not participating in Fiesta Texas incentive) from 8-11am Game Truck: May 30th. (Window for perfect attendance and excellent behavior- May 18th- May 29th) Students are allowed to attend if they have at least 700 LS points, perfect attendance, and no office referrals for the dates specified. Talent Show: May 31st from 8:00-9:30 Seating is limited, so first come first serve Parent seats will be on the far side of the gym next to Center St. door exit No strollers, please, as seats are limited. If you decide to take your scholar after they perform, please understand that it may take some time. At the time of dismissal from the show, parents will be asked to exit first. At exit parents will be given a number. This is the order that they will receive their scholar, if they chose to take them out early. We are asking that parents take their number and walk around to the front office and wait outside by the blue entry gates. Jane and Michelle will check your ID’s and verify that you are cleared to pick up your scholar. We will call you in increments of 5 inside the office to wait for your scholar. Awards Ceremony: June 1st from 8:00-3:00 Schedule: 8:00-9:00- 5th Gr 9:00-10:00- 4th Gr. 10:00-11:00- 2nd Gr. 11:00-12:00- 3rd Gr. 1:00-2:00- 1st Gr. 2:00-3:00- Kinder Awards Ceremony Student Dismissal Logistics If you want to take your scholar out after their awards ceremony, there will be a process that our staff will follow to ensure the safety of our scholars. Parents will come to IDEA Carver Academy front office from May 21- May 25th to pick up their RED End of the Year Pick Up slip. Ms. Samantha will verify that you’re cleared to pick up your scholar and give you the RED EOY Pick Up Slip to fill out in the office. Scholars whose parents have picked up their RED EOY Pick Up Slip will receive a wrist band that will be placed on the scholar prior to them leaving for the day on 5/31. At the ceremony, parents must present their RED EOY Pick Up Slip at the time of dismissal. If a parent doesn’t have the RED Pickup Slip, then they will not be allowed to take their scholar directly from the gym. They will need to go to the front office and pick up their scholar as if it was a normal school day. Just be mindful that this could take a while. If you did not pick up your RED slip during the specified window, but you want to take your scholar after the ceremony, you will need to go to the front office.
