Opioid Crisis in Rural America 10:30 a.m. - Buffalo Kirk Hughes, Minnesota Poison Control System This presenta�on will iden�fy the scope of the opioid epidemic regionally and na�onally. The various abusable forms of opioid such as Vicodin, Heroin and Carfentanil will be iden�fied. Use of Naloxone will also be discussed.

All You Could Ever Want to Know About Wine 2:00 p.m. - Wolf Tamara Bredeson, Carlos Creek Winery “Sips of History” Learn about wine with a focus on the growing Minnesota wine industry. Grapes are the oldest and most widely grown crop and also the most valuable. There are over 12,000 varie�es. We’ll explore and taste some varie�es of grapes developed in the Midwest and send you home with a be�er understanding of how to purchase, pour and store wine. Great Classroom Visits 2:00 p.m. - Bear Sue Kno� and Keri Sidle, Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom Explore innova�ve ideas for sharing the story of agriculture with kindergarten - 12th grade students. Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom (MAITC) staff will share free agricultural-themed resources based on Minnesota’s academic standards as well as �ps and tricks to engage with students. Veteran and beginning Farm Bureau volunteers will also share their experiences interac�ng in classrooms.
