ABOUT OUR INTERNS CareerTrackers interns are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are studying an undergraduate degree full-time at university. Students are based at 37 different universities across Australia and are completing a variety of degrees including Finance, Engineering, IT, Law, Arts & Architecture. Interns are passionate about building a career and many of them have chosen to relocate from their hometown to study and complete an internship. Your intern has identified your business as a place they would like to do an internship because of its relevance to their degree and/or career ambitions.

ABOUT CAREERTRACKERS History

The Program

CareerTrackers evolved from the INROADS minority internship program in the United States, which was founded in 1970 to address the underrepresentation of minorities in professional employment. Today, INROADS boasts 625,000 alumni worldwide and is the USA’s premier minority employment program.

In addition to completing an internship each year students participate in training & community building activities to develop core graduate skills.

CareerTrackers was founded in 2009 by INROADS Alumni Michael Combs and is currently working with 1,354 students and 108 employment partners. CareerTrackers interns graduate university and convert into employment at a rate of 89%. Today there are 486 Alumni who are working within industry.
