Getting Connected - The Gathering
The Gathering is the starting point of our membership process. It is a great way to help you understand how to connect with Christ daily and plug into one of our many small groups. You will also receive information about our church’s vision, values, and how to become a member. We believe wonderful things happen as we commit to Christ and His local church family. Finally, we know every person has been gifted by God to make a difference in the church and in the world. During this Gathering, you will discover how you can serve Christ in the church and live it out in the world. The Gathering is also a place where you can ask questions about the church or faith in general. It normally lasts about an hour. Everyone who desires to become a member at FOR must attend The Gathering. Childcare and a meal is provided. An RSVP is much appreciated. Our next Gathering will be held on August 15th at 6:30pm at Pastor Darren’s home. Dinner and childcare will be provided.

I Can Only Imagine Movie - August 10th and 12th On August 10th and 12th we will show I Can Only Imagine for free at both campuses. *The first showing is August 10th at 6:30pm at our 8th Street Campus *The second showing is August 12th at 2:00pm at our 8th Street Campus *The third showing is August 12th at 6:00pm at our Fountian Campus Childcare will be provided for those who RSVP! Register your children for AWANA at forchurch.org/awana or pick up the form in the Welcome Center. AWANA clubs meet every Wednesday from 6:00-7:45pm beginning September 5th. Preschoolers must be 3 and potty-trained before the start of AWANA. Our Cubbies program for preschoolers fills quickly so please register soon! AWANA Volunteers Needed Do you enjoy teaching and leading children to Christ? Are you free on Wednesday Evenings from 6:00-7:45 pm? We need you! Our AWANA Club starts this year on September 5th. Rockies/Elitches Trip Join us for our annual Rockies/Elitch Gardens overnight! August 7th-8th we will be in Denver for an evening Rockies game followed by a day at Elitch Gardens. Cost will be $75 and includes tickets and rooming. Students should bring additional money for food and any souvenirs. It is fist come first serve because we have a limited number of tickets, so sign up with Randy ASAP!

Fountain Women’s Summer Bible Study Ladies, join us Tuesday evenings from 6:00-8:00pm in Ark #3 from July 17th through August 14th as we are challenged with Ann Voskamp’s study, “One Thousand Gifts.” Learn how to find joy in the midst of deadlines, debt, drama, and daily duties. Learn how to break the bondage of self-hatred and fear, and instead embrace the everyday blessings that will immerse you in Christ’s fullness. It’s only in expressing gratitude for the life we already have that we discover the life we’ve always wanted…a life we can take, give thanks for, and break for others. Childcare is provided for children 10 years and younger with advance registration. Registration forms available at the Welcome Center. Cost is $6. Led by Sandi Leaf. Upcoming Series Join us this Fall for our 4 week series ‘I Can Only Imagine’.
