NEW EVENING CLASS: Before Amen—The Power of a Simple Prayer… A women’s study for those who struggle with prayer, wish they were beer at it or are new to prayer. SUMMER DAYTIME BIBLE STUDIES: WEDNESDAYS: The Path to the Cross - Wednesdays in room 1-250 (Fireside VC) ll July 1, 9:30-11am. Taught by Elly McDaniel-Lutz. Through a DVD, Ray Vanderlaan takes us on a journey back to the mes of Jesus. Marvel at the significance of Herod’s palace, the ruins of Qumran and wonder at Jesus’ parables. THURSDAYS: The Book of Acts - Thursdays in room 1-250 (Fireside VC) ll the end of August, 10-11:30am. Taught by Pastor Paul Pfotenhauer. The Acts of the Apostles, oJen referred to simply as Acts, is the fiJh book of the New Testament; it tells of the founding of the Chrisan church and the spread of its message to the Roman empire.

NO JOURNEY SERVICE ON JULY 4: Due to the 4th of July holiday there will be no Valley Creek Journey 5pm Worship Service on Saturday, July 4. Normal schedule resumes on July 11. HEALING SERVICE is held at the Valley Creek Campus every third Sunday. For prayers of healing, aend our service today at 12:15pm, in room 1-250 (VC Fireside). GREATER REACH VOLUNTEERS: Project Home is looking for volunteers to serve at the emergency shelter at Guardian Angels church over the summer. If you have a criminal background check on file and have completed a "Safe Church" training, you are eligible to help! THRIVENT LUTHERAN NIGHT AT THE TWINS GAME is July 30. Join us for a cookout (4:30pm) and bus ride (leaves at 5:45pm) from Oak Hill campus to the game. MS SUMMER STRETCH (SS): Summer Stretch begins this Thursday, June 25 from 8:15-5:15pm with me in God's Word, service and fun. This weeks event is Feed My Starving Children. The June 25 event is FULL but you can register for the other weeks. Next event is Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America on July 9. Haven’t signed up yet? OTHER MINISTRIES AND EVENTS KIDS CARE ROOM CHANGES: We're updang our Kids Care rooms and changing the check-in locaon so families can check-in at one locaon for all ages! Please follow the signs and use the door near the Ephesians room to check-in. Due to construcon, we're closing the infant Kids Care room this summer. All kids are welcome to check out the newly enlarged toddler Kids Care room. CAN YOU HELP? Our Summer Day Camp at both campuses is in need of a few items: LAB COATS (all sizes), COLORED SHARPEES (or other permanent marker...can be used), NEWSPAPER, SCIENCE-Y DECOR (i.e. microscopes), PLASTIC ANIMALS (domesc or wild), MARBLE RUNS, MAGNETIC TOYS.
