Encole Part Number: 265A1003 Sight Glass, SS-316, Quartz, Quartz Fill, NPT 1" Sight window with NPT threads conforming to ASME B1.20.1. For visual inspection, machine vision, optical sensors, in use with all common hydraulic oils; refrigerants including R744; petrochemicals, water heaters, and compressed air applications. Stainless steel housing has finish of 32 RMS providing smooth surfaces reducing the possibility of trapping residues or particle contaminants. Quartz window is bonded into the housing using non-outgassing quartzfilled resin, which forms a hermetic seal. This sight window has a long working life under severe temperature swings and undulating pressure. Use Teflon tape or NPT thread sealing paste during installation. No special installation tools are required. Do not exceed 112 ft/lb of torque during installation. Technical Data:
