Parents, Happy summer! We hope you are enjoying the summer break with your family. Below are the supply lists for the 2016-2017 school year broken down by grade level to help you prepare for our first day of school on August 15th. A copy of the calendar for the year is also below – which you can find on the IDEA website at http://www.ideapublicschools.org/parents/academic-calendar. You will be able to drop off the supplies on Saturday, August 13th when we will have a parent orientation with the grade level and you will have a chance to see our new beautiful STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) themed hallways! More information on times to come. Check our IDEA San Benito facebook page or Class Dojo for updates on the time. Please be aware for the safety of our scholars and to ensure all space can be utilized well in the classroom, halls, and buses, scholars may not use rolling backpacks. Also, most of the items are shared as community supplies so please do not write your scholars names on the materials. With the new addition of a STEM focus on our campus, you will also see some supplies that will help make our labs with our scholars fun and engaging! All grade level leaders and teachers are setting up family meetings before school starts so please be sure to discuss with them any questions about the supply lists or any other questions you may have.
