4th & 5th Grade STAAR Exam Dates The 4th Grade Writing STAAR exam and the first administration of the 5th grade Reading and Math STAAR exams are right around the corner. These are the dates of these important exams: Tues., 4/10 Wed. 4/11

Royal Reader Incentive On Thursday, scholars who have earned Royal Reader status by reading over one million words with at least an 85% accuracy will get to participate in our third incentive of the year. We will be hosting an ice cream, moon bounce and playground party with those scholars that qualify. The final day to qualify for the incentive is Thursday at 5PM.

No School – 3/30 On Friday, March 30 there will be no school in observance of Good Friday. Please make arrangements for your scholar on this day.

Weekly Attendance Our goal is to average 97.5% attendance every week because it makes our scholars more successful. These are our results last week: PK – 96.03% K – 97.41% 1 – 97.5% 2 – 97.28% 3 – 98.67% 4 – 97.98% 5 – 95.67% Overall – 97.67% Shout out to 1st, 3rd and 4th grade who reached out 97.5% goal!

2nd Grade Field Lesson - Rescheduled This week, the weather forecast indicates that there is going to be rain and possible lightning on Tuesday. Due to this weather, we are rescheduling the 2nd grade field lesson to Sea World. We are still working with Sea World to set a new date. When we have the updated information, we will communicate it out through the Family Weekly. Thank you for your patience and understanding of this change.

Mandatory Report Card Night – 4/5 On Thursday, April 5, we are hosting Report Card Night. This is a mandatory event for all families. Report Card Night for PM PreK-5th grade will begin promptly at 3:00PM and will end at 6:00PM. All families will be expected to park, collect their scholar’s report card, and pick up their scholar from his/her homeroom. Scholars in AM PreK will pick up their report card at 11AM. Families will be expected to park on this day and pick up the report card from their scholar’s homeroom. Please make arrangements to attend.

Egg Hunt – Individually Wrapped Candy On Thursday, March 29, our scholars in PK – 2nd grade will be participating in our annual Egg Hunt! To make this event a success, we need your help. Please send your scholar to school with a bag of individually wrapped candy. This candy will be used to fill the eggs. Thank you for your help!
