SUNDAY EVENING BIBLE STUDY Tonight, at 6:00pm, in the library, we will wrap up the study of “God’s Answers to Life’s Difficult Questions.” We will be focusing on the person of Jabez, and how to live beyond cruise control.
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND FAMILY CAMPOUT Next Sunday evening, May 28th, we will have our church family campout on the church’s back lot. Come and set up your campsites, as well as recreational equipment and games for the kids, any time after 1:00pm. We will have all the campsites marked and people to direct you to your spot. Sign up at the information desk to reserve your spot. For more detail, call the church office.
“UNDER THE SEA” VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL Registration for VBS starts today!!!! VBS will be held the week of June 26-30, from 6:30-8:30pm. Prior to the start each evening, a light dinner will be served for registered families. Children, age 4 through 6th grade, may register. Younger children may attend with a parent. Children will learn that no matter how big or small, every person is important to God. Stop by the Chapel to register.
“FORE THE LORD” GOLF TOURNAMENT Our “Fore the Lord” Noyes Home Benefit Golf Tournament will be held at Fairview Golf Course on Friday, June 2nd. Spots are still open so get your team registered today. There are several other ways for you to be involved: Be a sponsor; donate water, soda (Pepsi and Coke products) or packaged snacks; help at the golf course on the day of the tournament. (Please note the room change.) ►Tuesday, June 13th - the MSG’s will have a good old-fashioned picnic at Krug Park, with music from the Soul Harvest quartet. ►Saturday, June 24th – over 40 Singles are taking a Riverboat Dinner Cruise in Brownville, NE; $30 per person. More information at the kiosk. ►Saturday, July 1st – All-church work day here at Grace. We will be helping Pastor Dan get the church back in order after VBS. GRACE LOVES BABIES Here at Grace, we love seeing babies. We encourage moms to use the semi-private rooms in the northeast & northwest corners of the sanctuary to feed, rock, and change diapers. You can still watch and listen to the service from there.
PICKETT SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP We have partnered with Pickett Elementary School to come alongside them to make a difference in the community. We sponsor a Good News Club at the school and look forward to supporting them in other ways. Fundraising projects we can easily help with are to save product labels: Box Tops for Education, Sunny D labels, Campbell Soup labels; or visit Wendy’s on the South Belt the 2nd Tuesday of the month and mention their name. They also have a paper container on their lot where you can drop off newspapers, magazines and junk mail. Join us in making a difference!
MISSION TRIPS We want to thank the team that traveled to Columbia, MO to help Randy Quirk get closer to finishing his new church building. You truly are a blessing. Keep praying for: ►Haiti Mission Team as they will travel home on May 25th. ►Honduras Mission Team will be traveling home on May 26th.
