OFFERING ENVELOPES for the 2018-2019 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2018 have been placed in your church mailbox. Please begin using these on Sunday, July 1, 2018 and dispose of your 2017-2018 envelopes at that time as new envelope numbers were assigned each family. Thank you!! PLEASE REMEMBER the last Sunday for this fiscal year 2017-18 is Sunday, June 24, 2018. Envelope offerings received after that date will be credited to the 2018-2019 fiscal year. Please continue to pray for Helen Green, as she has recently been diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma. Her treatment plan is still to be determined. Thanks to our church family for the prayers and concerns for my brother, Dennis Vander Griend, as he had a brain tumor removed and a difficult recovery earlier this year. Now he is in a Wichita, KS hospital with at least two masses in his abdomen that the doctors are saying are most likely cancerous. Surgery/treatment options are still being determined. HEAR YE! HEAR YE! Senior and Friends will resume meeting on June 21 at 6:00pm in the activity center at First CRC. The meal will consist of an “indoor picnic” and the entertainment will be provided by a barbershop quartet. This group has an open invitation for anyone 55 years and older to join us for our monthly meetings. Please call Joyce Christians at 351-9294 for reservations by June 18.

FIT 4 JESUS – The last one is Thursday from 6-7pm. The finale will be the Great Amazing Race at Riverdale Park (2000 E 24th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57105), Saturday, June 23 at 10am. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL Our theme is Shipwrecked. Dates: July 9-12 from 6pm-8:30pm. Pre-register your children NOW! We are in need of… o 4 Crew Leaders: Crew Leaders are an important key to a successful VBS. They lead 5-6 children around to the different stations, they build relationships with the children in their crew, and best of all there is NO prep. As a crew leader, the only expectation is to have fun! o 2 Nursery Volunteers: Help out our crew leaders by watching their little ones so they can help in VBS. o Decorators: We will be decorating the church Saturday, July 7 from 9am-12pm, come help if you can! o Tropical treat food donations for snacks at VBS, click on the link to see what is needed https://goo.gl/qg5Poh Thank you for the donations!
