“UNDER THE SEA” VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL Registration for VBS is swimming right along!!!! The fun runs from 6:30 to 8:30pm every evening THIS WEEK from Monday through Friday. Volunteers may sign up at the information desk or stop by the chapel to register your child.

“HANDS OF GRACE” MEETING TODAY at 5:00pm, we will meet in room 206 to discuss projects we are planning for the summer. Come and see how you can be the “Hands of Grace” to those is our community.

RESET STUDENT MINISTRY » Parent Meeting, TODAY at 9:30am or 11:00am, in the Reset Room. If you have a student who will be in 7th through 12th grade next school year, Pastor Nick invites you to attend this meeting and find out everything that is going on in Reset Student Ministry @ Grace Evangelical Church! » Summer Camp, July 5th through the 8th, for all current 6-8 grade students, at Heartland Retreat Center in Parkville, MO. Activities will include climbing both high and low rope courses, horseback riding, swimming pool, crazy games, and focusing on God’s Word. Our theme this year is: “UPSIDEDOWN - Living Right in an Upside-Down World.” Cost is only $80 per student. Please see Pastor Nick for more details. SUNDAY EVENINGS AT GRACE Tonight, we will start a six-session DVD study by pastor and author Jim Cymbala, exploring the person and work of the Holy Spirit to bring a fresh sense of God’s power to our church and your life. The study is facilitated by Gary Jones and will examine what happens when the Holy Spirit moves powerfully within a person’s life and within a church. You can become a person who regularly experiences God’s presence and His power. PLEASE SIGN UP at the information desk or on the website if you plan to attend this study so materials can be ordered for you.

ALL CHURCH WORK DAY We are planning a church clean-up day this coming Saturday, July 1st, to help restore the church after VBS. We will start at 8:00am and work until around noon. Please sign up at the information desk today and COME HELP!

GRACE FAMILY PICNIC Next Sunday, July 2nd, we invite you to join your church family for a Holiday Picnic in Savannah at Messick Park. We will start cooking burgers at 4:00pm. Later the kids can swim, (free tickets provided), and then we will have a little competition on the softball field. Sign up at the information desk TODAY if you plan to attend. Food and fun provided, but you will need to bring your own lawn chairs, ball gloves, swim gear, and sunscreen.

FAITH AND FAMILY NIGHT The St. Joe Mustangs are having Faith & Family night Wednesday, July 12th. If you would like to go, all you need to do is stop by the information desk to sign up and pay. All tickets purchased on or before Sunday, July 2nd, will be $5. After that, the price will be $7.

SINGLES PICNIC Saturday, July 15th, you are invited to a picnic at Spanky’s shed. We’ll supply the meat and dessert and you bring the sides (salad, vegetable, chips). We will gather at 4:30pm and leave around 8:30pm. You can sign up at the kiosk. See Pastor Dave for more details.

NEW THEATRE RESTAURANT On Saturday, August 12th, Pastor Dave is taking a group to the New Theatre Restaurant to watch the show “Million Dollar Quartet”. If you have signed up, but not yet paid for your ticket, you need to do that today at the kiosk. For any questions, please contact Pastor Dave.

NURSING HOME MINISTRY Our next outreach at LaVerna of/St Joseph is Wednesday, June 28th, at 3:30pm. We will be doing the male resident photos. If you have men’s dress hats, we would love to borrow them for this event. And we need 4 dozen cookies made – can you help? See Kari Coughlin or Pastor Dave.

MOONLIGHT 5K RUN AND FUN WALK We are changing the date of the annual “Moonlight 5K Run and Fun Walk” and moving it to September in hopes of avoiding the heat and humidity of August. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 23rd, at 7:00pm and plan to join in this benefit for the Catholic Charities Crisis Pregnancy Center.

Summer food drive now in full swing for InterServ. Bring non-perishable items to our blue collection bins located by the east doors.
