============================================================ THIS IS OUR LAST WEEK OF GROWTH GROUPS FOR 2018!!! We would love if every G3 would take a group photo this week and post it to a member’s Facebook or Instagram page tagged with: #ChristmasG3 ============================================================

4. Verses 1b; 5-7 – According to these verses, what are some other ways we can worship and celebrate God?

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

5. Verse 7b – Pastor Darrell teaches from the New King James Version, which translates this part of the verse as “Sing praises with understanding”. Why do you think it is important to praise God with understanding? (You might also read 1 Corinthians 14:15-19)

*What is one of your most favorite Christmas movies or stories? *What one Christmas song puts you most in the Christmas spirit? * Looking back at your notes from this week’s teaching, was there anything you heard that caught your attention, challenged or confused you?

TAKING IT HOME DIGGING DEEPER – Please Psalm 47 1. What attributes (or qualities) do we see in regard to God's character in this Psalm?

2. Verse 1a –A call (or a command) to worship is given - “Clap your hands”. What are some occasions when people would clap? How do you think those moments will compare to the moment when God takes the throne to begin His eternal reign as described in this Psalm?

In the message this Sunday Pastor Darrell referred to two passages – Joshua 6:20 (the walls of Jericho coming down) & Acts 16:26 (Paul and Silas’s chains unfastened and prison doors opened) both were results of shouting unto the Lord or singing praises to Him. In your life how has worshipping God helped you break spiritual walls or chains and set you free? PRAYER REQUESTS (be sure to save 15-30 minutes for prayer) > > > ==========================================================

NEXT YEAR’S GROWTH GROUPS BEGIN JANUARY 13th 3. Verses 2-4 – Besides the call, we see a cause for worshipping. List the causes given in these verses. In your life what has caused you to worship God?

If you would like to join a Growth Group or change groups please contact the church office (816-279-2090). Otherwise we will assume everyone will continue as they are this semester. Open sign-ups will be January 6th through January 13th ============================================================
