Local Missions First Care Women’s Clinic (formerly Cobb Pregnancy Services) The work of this ministry is dedicated to lifting the burdens of women and men who, despite their circumstances, choose life for their children. First Care helps provide what is needed at the beginning of a pregnancy, mentors men and women, and shares the gospel of Jesus with all who come through its doors. Good Samaritan Health Center of Cobb Extending hope and healing, Good Sam’s mission is to spread the love of Christ through quality medical and dental healthcare to those in need. Serving its patients’ basic human needs while also addressing their spiritual needs, Good Sam provides affordable and comprehensive care for the uninsured, working poor. The Extension: Men’s & Women’s Centers The Extension is a licensed residential recovery program serving homeless men and women of Cobb County who suffer from alcohol and other addictions. It offers them another chance. In addition to substance abuse counseling, The Extension provides residents with educational opportunities and life skills training. Club 3:30 Each school day, 30-35 latch-key children attend Club 3:30. They are tutored, fed, and loved by volunteers from our church and community. No longer just an after school program, Club 3:30 reaches beyond tutoring and seeks to meet the immediate needs of these children and their families in areas such as food, clothing, and transportation.

Regional Assistance Disaster Assistance: Hurricane Matthew Presbyterian Disaster Assistance acts as a missional arm of the PCUSA and is involved in mission relief in the hardest hit areas of Hurricane Matthew’s path. Be a support to the PCUSA’a efforts to aid our neighbors.

Foreign Missions Mexico Mission Trip Support our youth of FPC Marietta as we return to Renacimiento to build homes in the summer of 2017! Missionaries - Ongoing Needs for Programs Thomas and Judy Harvey, Oxford, England - PCUSA Missionaries. Tom is the academic dean of the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies (OCMS), which is known for its engaged, relevant and practical research that brings Word and life together through research to transform individuals, communities and nations. Anne Dayanandan, India— PCUSA Missionary. Anne organizes the leadership program for women from Dalit villages at Ewart College. She enables these first-generation collegians to learn music, English, and martial arts and to share Christian life through daily devotions, Bible study, and linkage with the Student Christian Movement of India. Steve and Kathy Womack— Wycliff Bible Translators. Steve & Kathy celebrated 30 years with Wycliffe in 2014. They’ve served in South America and Africa. Now from North Carolina, Steve facilitates the assignment of staff to and from Wycliffe locations in sub-Saharan Africa. Steve trains the Human Resource workers assigned to Africa in Personnel systems. Kathy has been involved in the mentoring and training of Wycliffe staff in Africa and now at the Wycliffe training center, JAARS, in NC.
