Prayer of Confession (in unison, followed by silent prayer) Holy God, Lord of all that is seen and unseen, we come to You today weary of our confession. Sickened by our stale and rote prayers, we are tired. And we are sorry. The weight of this world seems impossible to carry and yet, we still attempt to bear the burden. In doing so, we fail to recognize You as the One who has both the desire and the power to lighten our lives. Forgive us for the ways we attempt to be a savior for humanity, a savior for ourselves, and grant us grace to lean into You, the true Savior of the world. Through the silence, speak to us Your words of grace. (silent prayer) Amen. Affirmation of Grace (Children please come forward)

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen. *Closing Hymn
