How Majestic Is Your Name

*Call to Worship Evan Gratz Leader: When we are gathered together, All: amazing things can rush into the room, rush into us. The Spirit comes and fills this place. The Spirit comes and fills us. Come and hear the Word of the Lord, Spoken just for us. Come and hear the Word of the Lord, So we can speak it alive in this world. Come and worship the Spirit of God, alive in us and overflowing.

Call to Prayer

Christ, Whose Purpose Is to Kindle Come, Holy Spirit, Heavenly Dove

No. 720 No. 298

Prayer of Confession (in unison, followed by silent prayer) Gracious and Loving God, We confess with confidence because Your spirit speaks to us in a language we can understand. We give You thanks for that clarity. But we must confess that we have only learned one spiritual language. We only speak of Your goodness in one way and many don’t understand what we’re saying. We don’t believe You’ll give us the words. We refuse to learn new tongues or engage in new conversations. Forgive us when we limit the way You are communicated by only speaking to ourselves. Fill our mouths with new spiritual languages so that anyone can hear and know Your grace. (silent prayer) Amen. Affirmation of Grace Ministry of Music
