We got the chance to bid farewell to some very important people this last week. Our final graduating seniors went off to college and our very own Cristen Frost will be stepping down from her volunteer position in the ministry. She served BRICK faithfully for so many years and the staff and students have been absolutely blessed by her ministry. MEXICO MISSION TRIP—Each year our church heads down to Mexico to support Greg Amstutz and his team at Rancho Genesis. We take a team down to provide health care to the families, do some building projects for the ranch, and play with the niños. Students are able to attend at a discounted rate. Life Events: 



A celebration of life for former long-time member, Cynthia Casebolt, who passed away on September 22, 2013, will be held at First Presbyterian Church, at 2:00 pm on October 2, 2013. Leland Curtis Larson passed away September 22, 2013. A memorial service will be held on September 30, at 1:00 pm at Miramar National Cemetery.

That means the Church Officer Nominating Committee has been working faithfully and diligently to seek and discern God’s picks for this next chapter of service. It is my particular joy to train the Elders elected today over October through November, and Pastor Karla’s with the Deacons, and Head Usher Pat Coughlin with the Ushers.
