Prayer of Confession (In unison, followed by silent prayer) God of our neighborhood, So often when we pray we do so with only ourselves in mind. What’s in this for me? Today, we ask that You help us turn away from ourselves and move toward the world outside the doors of this church—outside the doors of our heart. May Your grace flow through us, may Your courage empower us, and may our lives be an open invitation to the overflowing bounty of Your Kingdom. In Your mercy we pray. (silent prayer) Amen.

Pastoral Prayer and The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen. *Closing Hymn
