Prayer of Confession (In unison, followed by silent prayer) God of Grace, You set a table and invite even us to the celebration feast. We come to confession because You invite us, not with condemnation, but with the promise of forgiveness. We pray confident of Your graceful invitation but hesitate to accept. Through death and resurrection, Christ, You invite us across the threshold of the Lord’s house. We see the table set. We smell the feast prepared. We watch the poor and disabled take places of honor. Yet, the transformation that takes place at Your banquet table scares us and we make excuses. Invite us in again. And again once more. Give us the courage to accept Your abundance. Help us find our seat at Your gracious table. (Silent prayer) Amen. Affirmation of Grace

Pastoral Prayer and The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
