Day by Day
Elder Dwight Kellogg
No. 535
Prayer of Confession (In unison, followed by silent prayer) Gracious God, We acknowledge our indifference to You and to our neighbors. We confess that we have turned from You and given in to the power of sinful ways. We pray for Your forgiveness for things we have done and things we have failed to do or left undone. Uphold us every day with Your boundless Spirit. Give us a renewed awareness to serve the lives around us with Your love and compassion that knows no limits. We pray all this in Jesus’ name. (Silent prayer) Amen.
*Pastoral Prayer and The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
