Young women have been growing up with an indoctrination of what womanhood is and what it should be. They have been taught everything that is in stark contrast to the Word of God. You are invited to hear three young women who have not bought into the lie of the culture. Instead, they have learned, and are learning, to be discerning in a day when everything seems to go against God’s design. They are rare but they are real. GraceAnna Castleberry will hold a short talk on reading the Bible - because now it’s rare, but it’s where our true strength comes from... the Word. Maureen Broggi will talk about suffering and about the importance of knowing and believing who God is through all of it. Also, about knowing who we are in Christ. If we’re not grounded when the storms come, we will easily be blown away and left in a pile of rubble. Chesed Broggi will share about being “counter-culturally small”... investing in the home, the church, and the local community - instead of always seeking to maximize one’s reach and potential. She will also touch on prayerful dependence on the Lord. The Rare but Real conference will be held at the Beaufort campus, Friday evening, September 25th from 6:30-8:30. Please register at communitybiblechurch.us/real. In the registration process, you will have an opportunity to ask questions of Maureen, Chesed and/or GraceAnna. If you’ve already registered, but thought of more questions, submit them to Claudia Gay at [email protected]. If you are unable to attend in person, you will be able to watch via live stream.

“JESUS FIRM FOUNDATION” How firm a foundation, you saints of the Lord is laid for your faith in His excellent word. What more can He say than to you He has said, to you who for refuge to Jesus have fled. Fear not, He is with us, oh be not dismayed for He is our God, our sustainer and strength. He’ll be our defender and cause us to stand upheld by His merciful, almighty hand. (Chorus) How firm our foundation, how sure our salvation, and we will not be shaken, Jesus, firm foundation. The soul that is trusting in Jesus as Lord will press on enduring the darkest of storms. And though even hell should endeavor to shake, He’ll never, no never, no never forsake, He’ll never, no never, no never forsake. (Chorus) How firm our foundation, how sure our salvation, and we will not be shaken, Jesus, firm foundation. Age to age He stands faithful to the end. All may fade away, but He will remain, He will remain. (Chorus) How firm our foundation, how sure our salvation, and we will not be shaken, Jesus, firm foundation. Jesus, firm foundation Jesus, firm foundation

2 “BLESSED ASSURANCE, MY KING IS COMING SOON” Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, born of His Spirit, washed in His blood. (Chorus) This is my story, oh, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. Perfect submission, all is at rest, I in my Savior am happy and blest. Watching and waiting, looking above, filled with His goodness and lost in His love. (Chorus) This is my story, oh, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. My King is coming soon. He will roll the clouds away. Light of heaven bursting through, oh, what a glorious day. Yes, my King is coming soon. He will roll the clouds away. Light of heaven bursting through, and until that glorious day, (Chorus) This is my story, oh, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. This is my story, this is my song. My King is coming soon. He will roll the clouds away. Light of heaven bursting through, and until that glorious day, This is my story - This is my story - This is my song “HALLELUJAH, WHAT A SAVIOR” “Man of Sorrows!” What a name for the Son of God who came ruined sinners to reclaim! Hallelujah, what a Savior! Bearing shame and scoffing rude, in my place condemned He stood, sealed my pardon with His blood. Hallelujah, what a Savior! Guilty, vile and helpless we, spotless Lamb of God was He. Full atonement, can it be? Hallelujah, what a Savior! Lifted up was He to die, “It is finished!” was His cry, now in heav’n exalted high. Hallelujah, what a Savior! When He comes, our glorious King, all His ransomed home to bring, then anew this song we’ll sing, Hallelujah, what a Savior!

3 “THE POWER OF THE CROSS” (Chorus) This, the pow’r of the cross, Christ became sin for us, took the blame, bore the wrath. We stand forgiven at the cross. Oh, to see my name written in the wounds, for through Your suffering I am free. Death is crushed to death, life is mine to live, won through Your selfless love. This, the power of the cross, Son of God, slain for us. What a love! What a cost! We stand forgiven at the cross.

“IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL” (Chorus) It is well (it is well) with my soul (with my soul). It is well, it is well, with my soul. My sin, O, the bliss of this glorious thought, my sin, not in part, but the whole is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more, praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul. (Chorus) It is well (it is well) with my soul (with my soul). It is well, it is well, with my soul. And Lord, haste the day when the faith shall be sight, the clouds be rolled back as a scroll. The trump shall resound and the Lord shall descend, “Even so” it is well with my soul. (Chorus) It is well (it is well) with my soul (with my soul). It is well, it is well, with my soul.

4 “BLESSED BE YOUR NAME” Blessed be Your name in the land that is plentiful, where Your streams of abundance flow, blessed be Your name. Blessed be Your name when I'm found in the desert place, though I walk through the wilderness, blessed be Your name. Every blessing You pour out I'll turn back to praise. When the darkness closes in, Lord, still I will say, (Chorus) Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your name. Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your glorious name. Blessed be Your name when the sun's shining down on me, when the world's all as it should be, blessed be Your name. Blessed be Your name on the road marked with suffering, though there's pain in the offering, blessed be Your name. Every blessing You pour out I'll turn back to praise. When the darkness closes in, Lord, still I will say, (Chorus) Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your name. Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your glorious name. You give and take away, You give and take away. My heart will choose to say, Lord, blessed be Your name. You give and take away, You give and take away. My heart will choose to say, Lord, blessed be Your name. (Chorus) Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your name. Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your glorious name.

5 “HIS MERCY IS MORE” What love could remember no wrongs we have done? Omniscient, all knowing, He counts not their sum. Thrown into a sea without bottom or shore, our sins they are many, His mercy is more. What patience would wait as we constantly roam? What Father, so tender, is calling us home? He welcomes the weakest, the vilest, the poor. Our sins they are many, His mercy is more. What riches of kindness He lavished on us. His blood was the payment, His life was the cost. We stood 'neath a debt we could never afford. Our sins they are many, His mercy is more. (Chorus) Praise the Lord, His mercy is more. Stronger than darkness, new every morn. Our sins they are many, His mercy is more. Praise the Lord, His mercy is more. Stronger than darkness, new every morn. Our sins they are many, His mercy is more. Our sins they are many, His mercy is more.

INVITATION “TAKE MY LIFE AND LET IT BE” Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee. Take my moments and my days, let them flow in ceaseless praise, let them flow in ceaseless praise. Take my hands and let them move at the impulse of Thy love. Take my feet and let them be swift and beautiful for Thee, swift and beautiful for Thee. Take my voice and let me sing always, only for my King. Take my lips and let them be filled with messages from Thee, filled with messages from Thee. Take my silver and my gold, not a mite would I withhold. Take my intellect and use ev’ry pow’r as Thou shalt choose, ev’ry pow’r as Thou shalt choose. Take my will and make it Thine, it shall be no longer mine. Take my heart it is Thine own, it shall be Thy royal throne, it shall be Thy royal throne. Take my love, my Lord, I pour at Thy feet its treasure store. Take myself and I will be ever, only, all for Thee, ever, only, all for Thee.

6 OFFERTORY “OH THE DEEP, DEEP LOVE” Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus, vast, unmeasured, boundless, free, rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me. Underneath me, all around me is the current of Your love, leading onward, leading homeward to Your glorious rest above. (Chorus) Oh the deep, deep love, all I need and trust is the deep, deep love of Jesus. Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus, spread His praise from shore to shore, how He came to pay our ransom through the saving cross He bore, how He watches o’er His loved ones, those He died to make His own, how for them He’s interceding, pleading now before the throne. (Chorus) Oh the deep, deep love, all I need and trust is the deep, deep love of Jesus. Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus, far surpassing all the rest, it’s an ocean full of blessing in the midst of every test. Oh the deep, deep love of Jesus, mighty Savior, precious Friend, You will bring us home to glory where Your love will never end. (Chorus) Oh the deep, deep love, all I need and trust is the deep, deep love of Jesus. (Chorus) Oh the deep, deep love, all I need and trust is the deep, deep love of Jesus.

BENEDICTION “HIS MERCY IS MORE” (Chorus) Praise the Lord, His mercy is more. Stronger than darkness, new every morn. Our sins they are many, His mercy is more.
