UNSTOPPABLE: “THE MOVEMENT CONTINUES” ACTS 14 1. Take a few minutes discussing some keys things you’ve learned so far during the Unstoppable series. So far, what do you think our church could be learning from the first century church? 2. Before you go any further, make sure each person in the group is well acquainted with Acts 14. Either read it out loud or have someone summarize what happened. 3. Has anyone in your group ever been on a mission’s trip? If so, take a minute or two to describe the challenges of the trip. How do you think they would’ve compared to the challenges Paul and Barnabas faced? 4. When you take time to consider the difficulties these men faced, their persistence makes it clear that they are motived by something greater. It forces you to ask, “why?” What are some things you’ve noticed in the lives of the members of your group or in those you know at the church, that point to the fact that they live for a greater hope? 5. The key to living lives that force people to ask “why?” is not found in simply trying harder. Rather, it’s found in grasping the hope that we as believers are given. How can we make a habit of regularly reminding ourselves of the hope that we have? (Read Col. 3:1 and 1 Cor. 2:9) 6. Close by reading 2 Corinthians 5:1-10 and praying for one another. YOUR GROUP’S CHALLENGE: Find time to listen to both messages from our Glimpse series at some point this week. Then, spend a few minutes each day reminding yourself of how amazing our hope really is.

WHERE IN YOUR LIFE ARE PEOPLE ASKING WHY?
