News______________________________________________ Overflow Book Drive Jackson Public Schools has recently kicked off their Pages of Promise Book Drive and are trying to collect 5,000 books by the end of April. The donated books will go to students, classrooms, and libraries so that they have available resources to help them succeed. Please donate only new or gently worn books that range from elementary to high school reading levels. Drop-off boxes are located in the FC foyer, in the Auditorium foyer, and near the classrooms in the Education Building. Contact Bonita Ellwein or Jason Eifling for more information. Another Overflow OPPORTUNITY: On Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27, The Mississippi Dental Association is sponsoring a weekend of free dentistry for the needy with a program called "Mission of Mercy" or the "MOM" project. Dentists throughout Mississippi will be donating their time and services toward this effort. Volunteers are needed on Saturday, April 27, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., to help take down and pack up supplies so that the "MOM" officials can load their trucks and be on their way to another location. Please let Steve or Tammy Gandy know if you or anyone in your family (18 and older) would be willing to help with this effort. A head count is needed by Thursday, April 25. The event will take place at Hinds Community College (Rankin campus), in the Clyde Muse Center.
