www.rouloconsulting.com NASTRAN Bulk Deck Literacy This intensive, one-day course is meant to provide the attendee with directly applicable tools to get their jobs done. This course emphasizes how to utilize NASTRAN advance capabilities. The attendee will be comfortable with editing bulk decks in an advanced text editor and advanced NASTRAN functionality not available through common graphical user interfaces. There will be a focus on using the minimum number of element types to provide maximum portability and reduce errors and model limitations in the future. Advanced topics include optimizing the solver for speed increases of 2-4x, super-element reduction, interial relief, and setting up static non-linear analyses. This course provides 80/20 rule solutions for most configurations seen in production and then provides the resources for the designer and analyst to investigate further as required.
