AGENDA FOR CHURCH PRAYER DAY AND PRAYER SERVICE 08-12-15 When God was creating the earth and everything on it, the instrument for creation He used was His Word. In His unconditional love, He offered us the same instrument and by using His Word we could bring His Kingdom to our life and to the earth. His Word at the beginning of Gospel of John grasps our attention and builds our excitement toward Jesus and the new reality for a born-again person. God responds to all defeat and sinfulness of humanity with words «Grace and Truth» for Jesus manifested them. A born-again person is called to learn how to live in new reality of Grace and Truth that we entered through birth. Scripture is warning us about two extremes toward God’s grace. One, when people wrongfully use grace to excuse their unwillingness to depart from their sinful lifestyle. Second, the similar to the first, - when people have satisfied themselves with tiny portion of grace and thus, their life has not been transformed. - This is a subject for our prayer. Our prayer consists of 3 parts: 1. Prayer to receive much deeper awareness of God’s Grace – the one that will produce necessary desire in order to receive new measure of Grace. 2. Prayer to receive joyful manifestation of a living faith - the one that will produce the action of transformation. 3. Grace connects us to the work of God in our life. – A Prayer to receive supernatural ability from Holy Spirit in order to discern the work of God in our life. PRAYER ABOUT FUNCTIONS OF THE CHURCH: 1. Pray for our youth missionary team and for their trip and ministry in Mexico.
