History of Chambers
First Chamber – France, late 17th century.
Oldest in the British Isles - Glasgow 1783.
First American Chambers established in 1770 in New York. Tradesmen organized for the protection and promotion of commerce. They were comprised of volunteers. Our Chamber was established in 1918 – This is our 96th year!
