"Why do you seek the living one among the dead? He is not here, but he has been raised." – Luke 24:5-6

Next week (April 13-17) is Stanford Testing week. Please help your child to be rested and ready to go each day.

Happy Easter to all! I would like to congratulate our students Dylan Ryan, Sofia Ryan, Luke Downing, and Matthew Downing and teacher Summer Middaugh who received the Sacraments of Initiation into the Catholic Church this weekend.

Now that sweatshirt season is coming to an end, will you please check that your child has the correct sweatshirt. Students often get them mixed up. Most families write their names on the tag or a hem.

Our Middle School and Junior High science fair winners recently attended the Regional Science Fair and performed admirably as always. Riley Gilpatrick won both her division and the overall 7th grade award. Maddie McMurrough and Nick also won their divisions. Dominic Dharwadker and Jamie McGinn earned 2nd place in their division. Vincent Hassman, Alex Brandt, and Peter Welcher earned 3rd place in their divisions, and Kateri Smith earned honorable mention. Great job students!

Registration is open to everyone. We are happy to have already received several applications. I am excited to be welcoming these new families. If you have not yet returned your registration forms, please do so as soon as possible to secure your spot.

Tuition Assistance applications for 15-16 are now available and must be completed online. You can find the information on the “Admissions” tab of sjfay.com. Men’s Night, May 15th Graduation, May 22nd

Don’t forget that we will offer a summer program again for students in Pre-K through 4th grade. This program was very successful last summer, and we hope to see it grow this year. If you are planning for your child to attend, please send in the form and deposit by Monday, May 18th. This provides us with adequate time to arrange quality staff for the summer. Forms can be downloaded from Edline or picked up at the school office. In October our school board distributed a parent satisfaction survey by email. It is time again for that survey. Please be on the lookout for that email from school board president Brian Wood. We appreciate your honest feedback about our school. We are in the home stretch now. Only eight weeks of school to go! Let’s make it a great finish.
