[email protected] Pocono Palace Resort Announces Multi‐Purpose Outdoor Adventure Zone
Cove Haven Entertainment Resorts is excited to announce a new feature for it’s guests; an Outdoor Adventure Zone that will include over a dozen new resort activities. Some of these exciting activities include Paintball, Laser Tag, and a 3‐Hole Frisbee Golf Course. The Outdoor Adventure Zone will also feature outdoor Movie Nights, a Croquet Course, Horseshoes, Lawn Bowling, Bocce Ball, Badminton, as well as trails for Biking, Jogging, and Walking. The Outdoor Adventure Zone will be spread over the scenic 9‐hole golf course at Pocono Palace Resort. Guests who want to play golf during their stay can play on the 3‐hole course at the resort, as well as at Fernwood Resort and Country Club of the Poconos, which are offering specials to Pocono Palace guests on courses minutes away. Both courses are 18‐hole courses and will assist in hosting the Annual Spring and Fall Golf Tournaments traditionally held at Pocono Palace. The driving range at Pocono Palace will continue to be complimentary to resort guests and open to the public. Most of the new activities offered at the Outdoor Adventure Zone are included with guests’ packages; there will be a nominal fee for Paintball, Laser Tag, and Golf Cart Rentals. Additional activities will be introduced seasonally. Guests staying at Cove Haven Resort or Paradise Stream Resort will be able to visit Pocono Palace and take advantage of the Outdoor Adventure Zone through Cove Haven Entertainment Resorts popular Key Around Program. “We are always looking to find new ways to make our guest experience a ‘wow,” said Janice Goren, Pocono Palace General Manager. “We have wonderful space outdoors, but realized that it wasn’t being used to its fullest extent.” Goren estimates the Outdoor Adventure Zone will be ready in mid‐May and be open through the end of October.
