SERMON NOTES Sunday, December 14, 2014 “AND THEY WERE AMAZED” (Luke 2:8-18) Today we visit the Christmas story and see it unfold through the eyes of the shepherds. What is your response to the incredible news of the Savior this Christmas season? “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased (Luke 2:14, ESV). “And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child. And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them” (Luke 2:16-18, ESV). “These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also” (Acts 17:6, ESV).
