We have two mission projects scheduled in October—New City Church in New York City (September 31—October 5) and Haiti (October 7-15). The New City project is all about serving the community. The Haiti Project has Bible teaching, wood working instruction, constructing, medical work, and working with orphans. Go to the Mission Station in the church foyer for information or contact Rick Lowhorn at [email protected].

Serve Free Publications Available at the Information Center We have many free magazines, devotionals, etc. available at the Information Center. Our Daily Bread, Stand Firm (men’s devotional), and Journey (women’s devotional) are only a few. Please stop by and pick one up today!

Need Prayer? Rise and Pray is the prayer ministry of Stevens Street Baptist Church. It is easy to become a part of this great ministry that has the potential of not only ministering to those in the church but to people in our community and all over the world. As part of our website (www.stevensstreet.org) there is a link that simply says "Need Prayer?" If anyone desires for us to pray for them, they can click on this link and post their prayer need. These prayer requests are forwarded to those who have signed up to be a part of this ministry. If you would like to join the prayer team, e-mail Rick Lowhorn at [email protected].

Can you pray for our teenagers as they go on mission? This week, 50+ teens and leaders are serving at a boys and girls club in Greenville, SC. Please pray for them to have opportunity to share Christ with the children and leaders at the club and boldness in those opportunities. If you want to follow them while they're on mission, the Stevens Street Student Ministry Facebook page will be updated throughout the week.
